Awards show recognises the best work from the food and beverage industry

The 15th annual FAB Awards were handed out last night at London's Hurlingham Club, celebrating international food and beverage creative excellence. JWT London took home FAB's Agency of the Year award for its work with HovisKit Kat, and Coca-Cola. McDonald's, which earned ten category wins for various campaigns, was recognised as Brand of the Year

The awards broke campaigns into 20 categories large and small, ranging from Mobile and Social Media to Best use of Technology. Among its ten wins, McDonald's was celebrated for its Next StopMcDonald's campaign in the Posters/Outdoor category and its We All Make The Games television spot, both by Leo Burnett, London. The latter campaign also won gold in the Integrated category. The brand's most heralded campaign was the DDB Canada/Tribal Toronto-produced Our Food, Your Questions. That campaign won in three categories: Integrated, Virals, and Social Media. The Our Food, Your Questions video has racked up 8.6 million views on YouTube since being posted in June of last year. 

The Best Use Of Technology category was won by Coca-Cola's Polar Bowl campaign, by Framestore London, which saw the brand's iconic polar bears interacting with the 2012 Super Bowl in realtime. That campaign saw astonishing engagement levels, with 9 million viewers tuning in for an average of 28 minutes at a time. Coca-Cola also won gold for its Coca-Cola Athletes and Coca-Cola FM Amplifier campaigns. 

Contagious favorites Absolut UniqueJames Ready Cover Photo Swap, and Doritos Mariachi were also among the winnings campaigns. 

Four campaigns won FABulous Awards, that recognised them as being Best in Show. JWT London's HoHoHo campaign for Hovis and JWT Brazil's Coca-Cola FM Amplifier won FABulous awards across Press/Poster/TV/Ambient/Radio. Bombay Sapphire and Webb deVlam London's Electro campaign took home top honours across Design/Retail/Environment/Logo Design/ Brand Identity. Finally Grey Melbourne's Cloud 9 took home the FABulous Award across Online/Digital/Interactive.
