Announcing Contagious Portland
Contagious’ fifth office is set to open on America’s West Coast, in Portland, Oregon.
The bureau will be headed by Nick Parish, editorial director, Americas, who’ll be opening its doors in October.
‘We’re really excited to be in Portland; it’s a city that’s always prized independent creativity in all its forms,’ Parish says. ‘We’re hoping to become a part of the vibrant community of people there pushing boundaries and considering what the future should resemble.’
Most famous in the advertising world for being home to Nike and its longtime agency Wieden + Kennedy as well as semiconductor manufacturers Intel, Portland’s burgeoning brand scene includes dozens of spin-offs from those motherships, small apparel startups and fast-moving technology firms.
‘Five years after opening a Contagious office in New York, we’re thrilled to be expanding to the West Coast,’ says Contagious co-founder and editorial director, Paul Kemp-Robertson. ‘This will allow us to better service the numerous clients that our Insider consultancy works with, as well as broadening our editorial perspective. Some of the world’s most creative and innovative companies lie within a 100-mile radius of Portland and we look forward to being part of the conversation.’
Contagious will be sharing space with digital product development company Uncorked Studios at 1001 SE Water Ave #350, Portland OR 97214. To find out more or get in touch, email Nick.
