Contagious Singapore Event / The Contagious Commandments: Ten Steps to Brand Bravery
Join us on February 26 from 6pm (GMT+8) at The Working Capitol in Singapore, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Contagious.
Co-founder & editorial director, Paul Kemp-Robertson will be here from London to share the journey and insights behind the Contagious Commandments – our ten recommended steps to brand bravery.
In 2004, Contagious was created as a guidance system or instruction manual for the future of the ad business, occupying the intersection of marketing, consumer culture and emerging technology. Ten years later, Contagious’ unique position as objective agitator means that we have built up a series of principles that we feel modern brands should live by if they are to flourish. From Weaponizing Your Audience and Asking Heresy Questions to Having a Purpose and Prioritizing Experience Over Innovation, Paul will guide us through the Ten Contagious Commandments and then take questions from the crowd. It’s a conversation you can’t afford to miss!
The Contagious Commandments session is based on a decade’s worth of editorial and consultancy insight acquired during Paul’s time building Contagious, an editorial service and innovation consultancy with offices in London, New York, Portland, Sao Paulo and of course, Singapore. Paul will take a global perspective and show a range of examples from various product categories and media channels, touching on subjects as varied as branded currency (explored in his 2013 TED talk), trust dynamics, purposeful brands and the growing 'brand butler' trend, whereby brands behave as service providers in anticipation of the rapid growth of Virtual Assistance.
Tickets cost $75 SGD*
