Below are some of the themes we'll be covering during the day - more will be announced soon.
Automated Retail / We assess how the concepts for staffless retail, explored by Amazon, Alibaba and others, will likely play out, and offer brands advice on how to win in retail next year.
Transparency Trailblazers / Against a backdrop of fake news and false equivalence, trust and transparency have become the new brand ideal. In this session we’ll highlight the startups that are setting new benchmarks for openness – benchmarks that brands will need to meet in 2018.
AI + EI: Soul Machines / One of the most forward-thinking AI companies in the world, Soul Machines, will share how they give avatars human-like emotions and reactions, and what this means for customer service.
New Data / Whether it’s big, bio-metric or new: data is arguably the most important asset for modern brands. This session offers fresh perspective on how to harness dynamic data to your advantage.
Modern Masculinity / How brands can get ahead of the cultural conversation by rejecting masculine stereotypes, in the same way that Always, Dove and other brands won big by embracing feminism.
The World in 2018 / What can you and your business expect from 2018? Daniel Franklin, The Economist’s executive editor, will predict next year’s biggest global trends, from politics to economics and culture.
BETC: AiMen / Stéphane Xiberras, chief creative at BETC Paris, will describe how his agency harnessed artificial intelligence to send personalised messages to 1 million people in a week.
McCann: Fearless Girl / McCann New York will be on hand to reveal the strategy that underpinned this global discussion point.
The Corner + Jigsaw / Who says long-form copy is dead? Jigsaw’s Heart Immigration ad captivated commuters and sparked a nation-wide debate. The Corner, which created the ad, will join Jigsaw's CEO Peter Ruis on stage to share their insights.
How To Win In 2018 / Most Contagious’ finale applies a systematic framework to the day’s lessons to demonstrate for brands the most pressing opportunities and most precarious pitfalls.
Most Contagious will also offer a glimpse at some of the companies on the cutting edge of marketing technology, such as Lightvert; whose new display advertising technology was covered by The Times; People.io, a startup that rewards people for licensing their data and attention to brands; Moby-Mart, a company aiming to disrupt convenience stores; Picasso Labs, a cutting-edge AI startup helping creatives harness data to make smarter decisions; and Nested, which is trying to fundamentally change the way the property sector works.
