Uncommon named first Most Contagious agency of the year

In a year when it was hard enough for any work to see the light of day, one agency consistently created hit after hit

Every year at Contagious, we select what we believe to be the greatest campaigns of the past 12 months to include in our Most Contagious report, and we invite their creators to speak at our Most Contagious event.

But when we looked at all the campaigns we'd covered in 2020 from around the world, something anomalous stood out.

In a year when it was hard enough for any work to see the light of day, one agency appeared to have consistently created hit after hit. Not only that, but they'd achieved it across their client portfolio – delivering work that managed to tonally strike the right chord for both the brand and the era of Covid-19.

Whether it was convincing the UK's largest commercial broadcaster to pause a live TV show so isolated and locked-down viewers could call loved ones, or helping a home improvement retailer find its lost mojo, or even just making candles that smelled like the places we missed most during lockdown - one agency felt like it 'got' 2020 better than anyone else.

So for the unwavering consistency and quality of its output, we recognise Uncommon London as the first ever Most Contagious Agency of the Year.
